The ultimate choice would be something like a Satmap with OS maps on but don t want to spend loads as I ll only use it occassionally I Hence you d either pay twice for the maps eg Garmin Memory Map Tracklogs Mapyx etc or use one of the free online services

I am looking to do a long road ride in a few weeks time but the areas i want to cover are on 4 different OS Landranger maps Short of buying all 4 and Look at Quo by Mapyx Although i fyou need to print out you ll be limited to your own printing capacity unless youve got access to an A1 plotter or something you can order centred OS

Garmin support and Mapyx support tell me it is not possible to load other maps onto a Garmin When you do your route in some other format your Garmin OVERLAYS it onto a Garmin map Anyone using this setup Can you store the maps on your phone or pc for times when there is no phone signal
